Open Course Details

An open course is the most traditional format.  An open course is advertised to the local geographical area and is open to Physical Therapists, PTAs and Athletic Trainers outside of your staff.  The host facility allows us to present the course at their facility, and in return they earn free and discounted tuitions.

Our staff works very hard to ensure that there is very little work on your part.  Heartland Seminars will handle the advertising, registration, collection of tuition and all educational materials.  The facility simply provides an appropriate setting in which to present both lab and lecture components of the course (with mat tables, banquet tables, chairs) and purchases break food/beverages.  Heartland Seminars will reimburse the facility up to $150 for break items.

The host facility receives two free tuitions (with minimum of 10 registrants; 8 paid + 2 free), and a third free tuition if there are 15 or more paid registrants.  This format provides an economically feasible way for smaller clinics to successfully host a course.  A secondary benefit of hosting an open course is the publicity for the clinic afforded through course advertising.

Normal price: $375.00 per person.

In addition to the free tuitions, the host facility can register each of their staff members for a reduced tuition price of $350 each.  (That's a savings of $25 off EACH registration!)

Course prices are for locations within a 250 mile radius of Omaha, NE  For locations outside of this radius instructor travel costs will be added to the price of the course (fuel or flight costs).  Estimates will be given prior to contract signing.

Heartland Seminars reserves the right to cancel courses with less than 8 paid pre-registered enrollees at 3 weeks prior to the course date.  Continuation of the course may be negotiated on an individual basis.
